
Astronomer revealed in an official statement that it has launched a probe into its CEO, Andy Byron, after he was caught allegedly cheating with his co-worker Kristin Cabot at a Coldplay concert.
“Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability,” the company said via LinkedIn Friday.
“The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly.”It then declared, “Alyssa Stoddard was not at the event and no other employees were in the video. Andy Byron has not put out any statement, reports saying otherwise are all incorrect.”

The official remarks come after Astronomer insisted that a statement circulating online was fake.
The scandal has garnered massive media attention after Byron and Cabot — the company’s chief people officer — were caught embracing at the show at Gillette Stadium near Boston Wednesday.
According to The Post, the pair works together at the data-based and AI company — which is said to have been valued at $1.2 billion.
Footage showed the duo turning around and ducking down in horror as they were shown on Coldplay’s “kiss cam.”

“Look at these two,” the band’s frontman, Chris Martin, 48, said as the crowd reacted with giggles and gasps.
“Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”
Byron’s wife quickly deleted her Facebook page as the video spread across social media Thursday.
